This week, the University of San Carlos SINEKULTURA presents three films, veritable comedies of wit from Asia, America and Europe: a Japanese, an American, and a Finnish directors at CAFA Theater, Talamban campus.

It even sounds like the set-up of a joke– Three directors are being featured in a cinephile week: A Japanese, an American and a Finn…

The Monday-Wednesday screenings start 530 PM, the Friday screening begin at 6 PM. These film showings are FREE and open to the general public to foster an educational and enjoyable cinema experience to Cebu’s cinephiles.

SineBuano applauds MY PARANORMAL ROMANCE!

 

SineBuano would like to congratulate the cast and crew of the Cebuano film “MY PARANORMAL ROMANCE“, a Cinema One Originals 2011 finalist for their successful theatrical run at EDSA Shangrila Cineplex 4 this November 9 to 15 and for earning nominations in the 2011 Cinema One Originals 2011 Digital Film Festival held at the RCBC Plaza Building, Ayala-Makati last November 13.

The Color of Pomegranates at Cinephile Night, 4/7

THE COLOR OF POMEGRANATES (USSR/Armenia, 73 minutes) directed by Armenian artist and film director, SERGEI PARAJANOV.

The film will be screen for free this Cinephile Night at the Tioseco-Bohinc Film Archive, Mactan this Thursday this April 4. The showing begins at 730 P.M.
