SineBuano: Weekend Action March 21 & 22

Cebu’s Independent Filmmaking Scene, SineBuano, prepares for a film collaboration with Ryan Zarra of Tampa, Florida.

In line with this, SineBuano cast and crew had a busy couple of days this recent weekend, taking part in a rehearsal as well as a general cleaning of a primary shoot location.

Saturday afternoon, March 21: Meeting between director and SineBuano cast started at around 1 o’ clock. Beginning with a script reading, then followed by a breakdown of character for the actors with instructions on delivery, performance as well as wardrobe.

There was a follow-up rehearsal with the children cast of SineBuano, Sunday morning, March 22.

Sunday afternoon, March 22: Everyone gathered first at Secret Hole Billiard hall/carinderia a.k.a SineBuano HQ. By thirty minutes past 2, crew was on-route towards major location in Mandaue.

Cleanup consists of floor sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping as well as cleaning the bathroom, wiring the electricity and checking the water supply.

Everything was done by thirty past 4, SineBuano crew returned back to SineBuano HQ for final instructions and dismissal.

All set and ready to shoot this coming weekend.
