Benjie
Benjie is a member of Sinebuano whose efforts greatly boosted the formation of the organization as a solid force in Cebu’s independent filmmaking scene.
A Renaissance man of varied interests and talents, Benjie also specializes in Advertising Photography through which he keeps tab on the arts and activities in society and business that is the heart of Cebu.
His Sinebuano filmography include (1) Kada Uwan (director), (2) Utong, (3) Colon: Paglantaw (4) Pistola (5) Ang Bisita (DoP and sound) and (6) The Witness.
Diem
After winning THE PITCH– (MTV Networks Asia Pacific’s reality screen-writing competition broadcasted for the whole Southeast Asia); besting other contenders for 2nd place, Diem joined the International Academy of Film and Television as one of its pioneer students.
He collaborates as a screenwriter, director and producer.
Knowing no other better teacher than actual experience, Diem works with SineBuano, dedicated to promoting Cebu’s unique cultural identity to a global audience.
Jomark
A graduate of BA in Accounting, Jomark is intensively self-taught in the field of digital movie/film making.
He is one of the founding members of SineBuano.
He is also one of the founding member of www.istorya.net, Southern Philippines premiere discussion/forum website and the founder of www.totallycebu.com
His filmography of short films include (1) Ako T0′, (2) Utong, (3) Bugas-bugas (4) Sila (5) Ang Bisita (editing) and (6) The Witness.
Jomark operates a family-owned video production company.

Paolo
An active student of film, Paolo has researched and pursued his interests in filmmaking through personal video projects as well as reviewing films on his blog.
Presently, Paolo’s reaching for his degree in Psychology in order to have a career to support his passion for films and writing.
Jen
Jen is a SineBuano film actor with previous experience in theater.
She works as free-lance executive assistant while studying hard for leadership responsibilities in her church activities.
Rads
Rads is a young lady with a large number of diverse interests and pursuits, music and science among them.
As an actor who loves performing no matter the medium be it stage or film, Rads’ participation led to the successful production of SineBuano’s Kada Uwan.
She presently teaching and pursuing doctorate studies in the US but she knows there would always be a warm place waiting for her in Cebu and with SineBuano.
Lloyd
SineBuano first worked with Lloyd in Kada Uwan where he played the lead character.
A steady and stalwart individual, Lloyd can always be counted on to give his best with every performance, amazing when we consider he does not have any professional training. Talk about natural talent!
Frank
An independent businessman, Frank had a stellar career of a salesman when he retired to pursue his true passion: film.
Frank is versatile in his talents for filmmaking both on and off-screen: actor, director and writer.
JM
Another independent businessman in SineBuano’s roster, JM is Frank and Diem’s fellow batchmate in the pioneering class of students at the International Academy of Film and TV.
Gentle-mannered and soft-spoken, JM has a serious dedication to the weekend filmmaking activities of SineBuano.
Anne
As a writer, Anne wants to grow through multiple challenges which include writing for film.
SineBuano finds her assistance in checking on the Bisayan/Cebuano dialogue during pre-prod and her activities as script supervisor during production shoots to be of a professional caliber.
Soon, SineBuano hopes to produce one of her written works to screen.
Marlon
Ever the movie buff, Marlon becomes a student of directing and cinematography whose skills and experience was tested and tempered through the production of short films in Cebu.
Talented when it comes to handling the camera and framing the shot, Marlon is a valuable asset to the SineBuano crew.
Vica
Vica is a theater arts major whose passion is acting but also possesses proficiency behind-the-scenes. She’s worked on as a production/wardrobe manager for many student film thesis and photo shoots.
For the group however Vica is, and always will be, considered to be a prized SineBuano actor. Like Rads, she is also abroad to plow her fortunes but if and when she comes back, SineBuano will be waiting.
Bambi
Writer, Poet, Artist, Businesswoman, Actress~ Bambi bears many roles as a woman who makes the most of life.
She is a big part of the Cebuano independent film movement, particularly for her role as producer for the award-winning film “Confessional.” Her continuing and consistent efforts in proving and promoting the existence of our indie film movement in the country makes her certifiably SineBuano!
Sheena
SineBuano has worked with Sheena as a first-time actress in “Maria”.
She found filmmaking to be so much fun that she decides to stick around, learn and help some more! And SineBuano is delighted to have her!
Cheche
Like Sheena, Cheche has also found filmmaking to be fun that she makes it a point to attend any SineBuano activity and assist any way she can during production.
She has a natural set of skills in hair-styling, makeup and wardrobe, valuable support for the cast of any film shoot.
Franzy
Franzy has her eyes on the goal of becoming a rare person in cinema, a female cinematographer.
She plans to get involved and acquire knowledge through experience and guidance from SineBuano to understand how to best communicate through images and visuals.
Eleanor
As a journalist and newspaper columnist, Eleanor makes it her mission to know the heartbeat of Cebu’s Art and Culture Scene that so much she’s become a well-known part of it.
SineBuano isdeeply grateful that, in her pursuit of showing her support to local arts and artists, she throws her lot with us. Her skills in the local language and knowledge is a treasure trove for future SineBuano stories and projects.
Alan
During the week, Alan works as the art director of a local publishing firm.
On weekends, he directs his creative energy and drive in indie filmmaking. A man full of surprises, Alan keeps the mood light and fun during any production yet balances with a determination that inspires people to give their best~ promising qualities of a budding director.
Mike
Mike is a professional editor based in California, who has an extensive knowledge and appreciation for world film, and has helped organized film festivals. Clearly, his heart and soul shines for Cinema.
Mike has a dream to make the world of Cinema more accessible to many Cebuanos, particularly those in the baranggays~ a dream which SineBuano fully supports.
Lito
Lito is a man who has traveled many roads in his life, thus he has many stories to tell which he hopes to pen down into scripts.
He shares a love for cinema with his legal cousin Mike and has joined SineBuano to help the cause while learning all he can regarding filmmaking in Cebu, a new road to travel.
Jorich
After working hard at one of the city’s busiest call centers, Jorich looks forward to making the most of his rest days. Part of that includes participation in SineBuano activities behind-the-scenes.
Even despite a hectic day at the office or after a graveyard shift, Jorich does his outmost to be present for SineBuano.
Clarence
Student and musician, Clarence is also interested in producing and editing film.He hopes to learn to discover his own style in piecing visuals together in a rhythm that could be almost as pleasing as music.
Despite his busy schedule in his various interests, Clarence is a powerhouse of energy in the SineBuano set.
Ryan
Raised in Florida, this young filmmaker’s heart has taken root in his homeland, finding it to be good, fertile ground for great stories to be told through cinema.
Ryan bears the inspiring qualities of a good director. He connects well with people, humbly acknowledging that production is a collaboration, bringing together all the good what kindred spirits can offer to create the best film possible.
Ron’s a veteran of Philippine film and TV, a production designer with a sterling career spanning nearly 20 years. Early in his career, he’s had the good fortune of working with the greats, Lino Brocka and Ishmael Bernal.
Now “retired” from the show-biz in Manila, Ron’s putting his expertise and experience in an endeavor to “revive” the Cebuano/Visayan film industry to its cultural glory.
