Sheffield International Documentary Festival (Doc/Fest) is now open to receive online film
submissions for the official programme and Videotheque 2009.

The deadline for submitting a film is 17 June 2009.

The festival, to be held this year between 4-8 November, welcomes documentary films of any style, duration or subject produced for cinema, television, as part of film school coursework or for cross-platform. Established and debut filmmakers are encouraged to apply.

The Sheffield International Documentary Festival is the UK’s premier event for international documentary professionals, and showcases some of the finest examples of documentary film from across the globe.

Sheffield Doc/Fest is a film festival, industry session programme and market place, offering pitching opportunities, discussion panels and filmmaker masterclasses.

In 2008 Doc/Fest was attended by over 1300 UK and international filmmakers, commissioners, distributors and buyers.

The deadline for submitting a film is 17 June 2009.

• Green, Audience and
• Student Doc
