Tickets are PhP250. Students can avail of a discount and get tickets for just PhP150, just bring a valid school I.D.
The show features performances by the Young Thespians of Cebu, The SIDD, PACE, Creative Thespians of Cebu, G10, the cast of the Facebooked musical, UPstage and STC Buhilaman theater groups, with exciting direction and choreography by Rudy Aviles.
This musical extravaganza promotes cancer awareness/prevention. Ticket proceeds will benefit The Cebu Cancer Fight, Inc.
The event is organized by Prof. Bien Fernandez Jr., in coordination with the St. Theresa’s College Alumnae Association (STAA) and the STC Bantawan Theater Group (batch 1981).
This event pay tribute and support to one of the pillars of today’s theater community in Cebu, playwright-director Daisy Brillantes Ba-ad who’s presently receiving medical treatment for soft-tissue sarcoma, a cancer of the body’s connective tissues.
Over the last three decades, Daisy has built a solid career in the performing arts in Cebu with directing and writing original musicals such as “Tall Tales Kuno!”, a grant awardee of the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA); “Siddhartha: A Musical Journey to Enlightenment”, an original musical in English written with award-winning songwriter Jude Gitamondoc; and most recently Zephryin Namuncura: The Musical, with Jude Gitamondoc, for Don Bosco Cebu in honor of the Blessed Ceferino Namuncura of Argentina.
