CONFESSIONAL, the international award-winning mockumentary shot here in Cebu, will have a FREE screening in this month’s Indie Film Sundays at The Outpost, July 25.
Screening begins at 9 PM.
Helmed by Jerrold Tarog and Ruel Dahis Antipuesto, CONFESSIONAL won Best Film in the First Features Section of 10th Osian Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema in New Delhi, India.
It sweeped the 2007 Cinema One Originals, garnering 7 of the major awards, which includes Best Picture and Best Director for Ruel and Jerrold, with Best Support Actor for Cebu’s very own Publio Briones.
In 2008, it was well-acclaimed by the 24th PMPC Star Awards with Best Picture and with the Cinemanila International Festival , being its Best Film for the Southeast Asian category.
