Bark4Love@Mactan Shrine, 2/26

A Post-Valentine festival for dog lovers, owners and their beloved dogs is set this Sunday, February 26 at the Mactan Shrine, Lapu-lapu City from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The event, “Bark for Love”, will start off with a dog parade, followed by an opening ceremony.

American legend John Ford@SineKultura

John Ford was an American film director, famous for both his westerns such as “Stagecoach”, “The Searchers”, and “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance”, and adaptations of such classic 20th-century American novels as “The Grapes of Wrath.”

This week, University of  San Carlos SineKultura will feature “The Man who Shot Liberty VaLance” and “The Searchers” on Wednesday and Friday respectively.

Christmas Dawn Mass on Cebu FM

The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral Parish Church will broadcast its Misa de Gallo and Misa de Aguinaldo services live over radio dyDW Power FM 89.1 every 4:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. from December 16 until December 25.

The radio apostolate program is done for the benefit of the Catholics of poor health who cannot attend the traditional early morning Masses at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

The live coverage hosted by Brother Diego Lim Alugar, The live coverage of the Misa de Gallo and Misa de Aguinaldo are offered in thanksgiving for the bountiful graces and blessings this year as well as prayers for good health and peace in the year to come.
