Calling for Songwriters for 1st Elements Songwriting Camp!

Inviting all aspiring songwriters in Cebu! Are you 18 to 35 years old, with unique original song ideas?!
Be a part of the first ever Elements National Songwriting Camp in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental on November 14 to 18, 2010
Organized by the Maestro of OPM, Ryan Cayabyab and 7101 Music Nation– an organization dedicated to discover and develop local artistry in Philippine music– the songwriting camp will be facilitated by renowned songwriters and musicians, such as Jim Paredes, Jay Durias, Joey Benin, Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Gary Granada, Gary Valenciano, Chito Miranda, Gabby Alipe, Yael Yuzon, Jonathan Manalo, Jungee Marcelo, Trina Belamide, and many more.
The lucky participants will undergo workshops and trainings through case studies, interactive outdoor sessions, music games, group activities, and one-on-one consultations.
Modules that will be presented are History 101, Basic Music Creation, Lyrics, Beyond Music and Words, Commercial Music Structures, The Music Producer, Publishing and New Business Trends, Music and Technology, Music Videos and Production, and Music Inspiration.
Only sixty applicants will be accepted to participate in the workshop for free.
Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be allotted 20 slots each with Ryan Cayabyab and his team composed of esteemed songwriters conducting the screening of the applicants.

Application period will last until August 22, 2010.
The final list of those who will go to Dumaguete will be announced on September 22.

I consider this activity to be once in a lifetime for songwriters, but I am one of the unfortunates that may not be able to participate because of my age. But then, I hope there will be opportunities for us later, if not at this time.

Hi. I just read this ad… I’m into songwriting but have no chance of nurturing and sharing this God-given talent. Is there any way or chance to join this once in a lifetime event? Really appreciate your response… thank you very much
