A Post-Valentine festival for dog lovers, owners and their beloved dogs is set this Sunday, February 26 at the Mactan Shrine, Lapu-lapu City from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The event, “Bark for Love”, will start off with a dog parade, followed by an opening ceremony.

The registration and free clinic will start at 8 AM. The free clinic includes rabies vaccination, deworming and vitamin supplementation, neutering and treatment.

Pet blessing is set at 9 AM.

From 2 PM onwards, there will be a presentation of dog clubs, a demonstration on dog grooming, lectures, games and awarding of prizes. A live band will provide entertainment.

Interested participants can join the mini-float contest during the morning dog parade. Vehicles allowed to join the mini-float are limited to multi-cabs and trisikads.

“Bark for Love” is a project of D’ Dog House Cafe and Grooming Salon, in cooperation with the Lapu-Lapu City government.
