Fine Strokes: Sublime Works of Art of a Cebuano Painter, a display of select works of painter Roberto M. Agas will be held this August 13, 2 PM at the lobby of the Sacred Heart Hospital.
The display of wondrous art will last over six months and is done in cooperation with Southwestern University.
Over 40 paintings, depicting the everyday labors of the Cebuano and Cebu’s rich tapestry of architecture and history, will provide a more humane, healing environ forfor patients and art aficionados to savor and enjoy.
Those interested in some of the unique pieces can take them home and the proceeds will benefits the charitable activities of Sacred Heart Hospital.

Ranging from drama to comedy, adventure, five outstanding French films will be featured at the 16th French Film Festival this June 23 to June 25 at Ayala Center Cebu Cinema 4, Cebu City Philippines.
Among the exceptional French films to be screened is “Le Marquis”, a French film shot in Cebu, Philippines.

As a stand against injustice and the exploitation of children, International Justice Mission (IJM) Cebu announced its first-ever songwriting contest.
All musicians and composers in Cebu are invited to write songs that will raise awareness on the rights of every child against exploitation for community mobilization.
Songs must be submitted before or on 15 May 2011.
