Cebu’s Independent Filmmaking Scene, SineBuano, prepares for a film collaboration with Ryan Zarra of Tampa, Florida.
In line with this, SineBuano cast and crew had a busy couple of days this recent weekend, taking part in a rehearsal as well as a general cleaning of a primary shoot location.
If I had my way at A.M.P.A.S, I would give this the Best Picture, if they couldn’t at least let Benjamin Button win. There is no doubt that this is a very personal effort for Eastwood; as the character he plays jives with how he is in his years of reflecting on generativity vs. stagnation. [...]

A long week is over for the organizers of the film showcase at One Visayas, held at the Cebu International Convention Center.
A lot of good has happened during this event which makes the presence of Cebu’s independent filmmaking efforts seen and appreciated by audiences.
